safe parking network

Vulnerable people living out of their cars commonly tell the same story of instability as a significant barrier to progress. Without a safe place to simply be, it is deceptively complicated to research housing opportunities, employment availability, or make connections to other vital resources.

Many programs throughout the country provide safe parking options to people while connecting them to resources. Often, this is done at a single location resulting in over-burdened local resources, community complaints, litter, and other challenges.

Northwest Hospitality has developed a new model which will network public spaces and small businesses to provide all the benefits of other Safe Park programs with fewer drawbacks. We are currently recruiting partner locations with 1-2 parking spaces to commit to this outreach program. Please email anton@nwhospitality.org if you have any suggestions!
