First NWH Adopt-a-Road pickup

I got to spend three and a half hours with my mom picking up junk along a 2-mile stretch of roads around my place in Port Orchard. We picked up 7 full bags plus some sign and post debris and reported a tire that was picked up later. My mother hit me in the chest (she insists that it was on accident...) with a grabber that had just been used to pick up the most appalling swollen, nasty diaper you can possibly imagine. We also had some fun kicking a Wiffle ball back and forth.

It was great to see the roads all sparkly clean...at least for a day or two before I started seeing more cans and junk...stay clean out there Washington :)
