This training provides businesses looking to work with interns from our program an overview of what might come up with people who have experienced trauma, how it affects people, and some best practices for managing through those behaviors.

You will learn:

• Types, examples, and levels of trauma

• How a trauma-informed approach can be implemented in a variety of ways to affect well-being, engagement, and retention of your new and long-term staff.

 The training addresses how trauma affects professionals working in a business setting and includes information to help leaders and supervisors effectively implement trauma-informed approaches within their organizations.

The training is 90 minutes and is a requirement to onboard Workforce Ready Initiative interns. There is no cost for the training and it will be held at NewLife Training Center.
