We had a great suggestion from Ava on Facebook to provide masks to people during the next regional smoke emergency. A campaign has been started to raise funds and create partnerships to strategically distribute masks when we have another smoke emergency as we have the past few years.

Northwest Hospitality will work with local volunteers to collect masks and water at cooperating distribution hubs. When we have a smoke event forecast we’ll deploy all these resources out into our neighborhoods to make sure that our friends in the streets have at least minimal protection from these conditions.
