November 2024 Newsletter
For the last several years NW Hospitality has had the opportunity to partner with Pac NW Care Pack group. In their own words:
“The Pac NW Care Package Group is a non-partisan group of volunteers who formed in December of 2017 and through the efforts of just three people were able to raise enough funds to create and hand out 73 care packages to the homeless on Christmas Day, 2017. Since then, we have grown to over 100 different volunteers and raised over $25,000 to distribute over 3,400 emergency kits to the homeless throughout King County. These kits consist of supplies such as socks, hand warmers, dental care, resource lists to seek help, etc.”

One of our very favorite people, Robert, was at it again this month. He coordinated a whole crew of volunteers to do a two-day supply drive at the Port Orchard Dollar Tree. These items get added to our Mobile Supply Closet, to be distributed to folks in need throughout the community.
Do you want to host a supply drive for us?? We would absolutely love that!! Drop us a line, we are happy to provide some fliers or posters for your event.

Northwest Hospitality has made the difficult decision to not hold an Annual Benefit this year. We always had a great time but they were not effective at growing our community or bringing in the amount of funding that justifies the work.
BUT! We still need to thank everybody and have a fun time with you so we're trying an online Appreciation Party this year. Join us for a few hours of games and prizes on Dec. 8th - Anton promises to keep the speechifying to a minimum!
We just want to say "Thank You" to everybody who continues to make our outreach and community building possible. The more we have log in, the more fun we'll be able to have (we can get some Jackbox Games going in the breakout rooms, draw for prizes, and more. Please come and bring your friends!
In case you missed it…
